I have 2 daughters.  Brianne, 8; Courtney 4.  Husband:  Chuck.  We have lived in Castle Rock for 7 years.  I grew up in Ft. Collins.  I have taught 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grades.  I have been teaching for 9 years.  I went 2 years to University of Northern Colorado and graduated from University of Wyoming.  Hobbies/interests:  I love the outdoors, mountains, seeing the leaves change in the fall, baking, sewing, reading, watching movies and being around people.   I had a really good third grade teacher who always encouraged me in my schooling even when school/ in particular reading,  was tough for me as a child.  She inspired me to want to help other children on their learning journeys.  I love to see smiles on kids faces when they finally "get" a concept.  I also love the feeling of knowing I get to help shape how they are going to turn out in the future.  I love being able to laugh and play with the kids by making learning fun.
